The D-8 Forum on SME and Health Market was hosted by the Government of Nigeria. The D- 8 Health and Social Protection Programme and SMEDAN in collaboration with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria convened the 2-day event in Abuja on 26th and 27th October 2022. Read the Report
Umma Zakat Fund Consultative workshop
The D-8 conducted consultations with religious bodies, international bodies, Zakat houses, government humanitarian agencies, banks, investors, experts (in Islamic finance, Zakat, Communications, and Regulatory issues) for the Umma Zakat Fund implementation on July 19, 2022. D-8 HSP Inaugural Consultative Meeting Outcome Statement(2018)
Following the confirmation of the D-8 HSP program, the Inaugural Consultative meeting of member countries of the D-8 HSP was convened to deepen political commitment, curate, and share evidence, best practices, and knowledge products. Read the Outcome Statement
